1 — Tell us a bit about yourself. How did you start your career as an entrepreneur and Developer? What projects have you been involved in before Zenfuse?
Before starting my career in IT, I worked in tourism. I organized walks on the rooftops of St. Petersburg. Although a dangerous and illegal occupation, it was very profitable nevertheless. I was fortunate to have my first experience in business and management thanks to tourism.
However, I knew that I would not tie my life to it, so I decided to begin an independent study of programming. I have always understood technical science, so learning programming languages was quite easy for me.
After a year of study and practice, I met Dima. Together we began to create websites for companies from all over the world. We quickly grew, setting up our own web studio and hiring other developers.
By the end of 2020, we received an invitation from Yuriy to join his startup. Soon after, both Dima and I became in charge of developing the Zenfuse platform.
2 — How did you join the Zenfuse team? Was it the shared love for fast cars between you and Yuriy that “drove” you to join?
Dima and Yuriy had previously met at a startup summit. Yuriy was looking to assemble a team of equally proactive professionals, so he decided to invite Dima to join. Dima brought me along for the ride, and that’s how I ended up joining Zenfuse.
Regarding the love for automobiles, it was more of a coincidence. I only found out that Yuriy and I shared a passion for fast cars after we started working together :)
3 — Are you a trader? When did you get started in crypto, and what has been your experience within the space so far?
Yes, I am an active trader now. I have multiple accounts at several top exchanges and am involved in many DeFi (decentralized finance) projects. Most of my knowledge about trading and cryptocurrencies began while working for Zenfuse.
4 — Give us a brief overview of your functions as the project manager for Zenfuse. What does your typical workday look like?
Dima and I are both engineers and managers in the project, so my typical day consists of setting tasks for developers, reviewing written code, and designing the architecture of complex systems.
I start my working day in the office at around 9/10 in the morning, sometimes earlier, and stay until evening. I go to the fitness center near our office several times a week, where I work out together with some of our team members.
5 — How would you describe the Zenfuse team and the culture of the company?
I appreciate and respect every member of our team. Zenfuse is like a big family, and I’m glad we all got together.
6 — What makes Zenfuse unique? How does it stand out from other trading platforms?
Our goal is not just to build a convenient terminal for traders but a complete and self-sufficient system for crypto-enthusiasts, with built-in social network features, DeFi functionalities, and advanced trading tools.
7 — What or who inspires you? Is there any figure, inside or outside of crypto, that has had a major positive influence on you?
Rather than be inspired by an idol or influential figure, my inspiration comes from an internal source. Working hard and fulfilling my potential is what drives me.
My dream is to create and work on large-scale projects like Zenfuse, which will change people’s lives and be used by millions worldwide. I’m also driven by the vision of a more sound and inclusive financial system thanks to cryptocurrencies and DeFi.
8 — Is there any specific trait or skill that you’ve developed working on Zenfuse?
Yes, of course. During the time I worked on the project, I significantly improved my managerial and engineering skills. I also took the first steps into trading and had the chance to learn about the development of dApps (decentralized applications) through the Solidity programming language.
